Kidport is designed around a coherent learning system based on cognitive science and the way people think and learn. It creates the foundation for lifelong, active learners. The Think-and-Learn system provides for progressive development of critical, creative, systems, scientific, and organizational thinking skills. It also develops problem solving and decision making skills. This is a cumulative program teaching the learning concepts over Kindergarten through Grade 8. This learning system also provides the basis for the remainder of Kidport interactive educational materials including workbooks and reference library materials.
The following diagram shows the progression of learning skills through grade 8. See the Think-and-Learn Site Map for more details.
