Elapsed Time

Elapsed time is the time that passes from the start of an activity to the end of that activity.

Elapsed time will help you learn how a clock can help you tell when and activity will end or how long an activity will take place.

Suppose the clock is showing the starting time and the end time. What is the difference in the time? Count the minutes by fives and the hours by ones.

Here the starting time is 6:00 and the end time is 8:00. The hour hand has moved by 2 numbers . So the elapsed time is 2 hours.
